  • 2003: Associated Professsor at the Ecole des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Centre of Byzantine, Neohellenic and Southeastern European Studies)
  • 1995 (spring semester): Visiting professsor at the Department of History and Social Anthropology (University of the Aegean).
  • 1985-1986 and 1987-1990: Visiting lecturer at the Department of Philology (University of Crete).
