RESEARCH BACKGROUND
• 2006-2007: Research collaborator at the IBR/NHRF, attached to the Programme ''Byzantium and the World of the Slavs and the Balkans''.
• 2007-2010: Assistant Researcher at the IBR/NHRF Research Programme ''Byzantium and the World of the Slavs and the Balkans''.
• 2009- : Programme ''Institutions, Society, Internal and Foreign Policy of Byzantium''.
• 2011- : Associate Researcher.

MAIN FIELDS OF RESEARCH
• Relations between Byzantium and its northern neighbours.
• History and civilisation of the early Slavs, Great Moravia and the Kiev Russian state.
• History and civilisation of the nomads.
