• 1992: Degree in History, Department of History and Archaeology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Athens.
• 1995: Post graduate degree in Greek Palaeography, The Vatican School of Palaeography, Diplomatics and Archival studies (Vatican City).
• 2002: PhD in Greek Palaeography, Department of History and Ethnology, University of Thrace (Komotini).

PRESENT AND PAST POSITIONS
• 2002-2003: Palaeography specialist at the Manuscripts Department of the National Library of Greece.
• 1992-2003: Associate of the IBR / NHRF.
•2003-2007: Assistant Researcher at the IBR / NHRF.
• 2007-: Associate Researcher at the IBR / NHRF.

MAIN FIELDS OF RESEARCH
• Greek Palaeography.
     - Study of manuscripts, mainly in monastery collections.
     - Study of post-Byzantine documents in Mount Athos archives.
• History of the Greek printed book (15th-19th c.).
     - Study of printed book collections.

SCIENTIFIC/ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
• 1994-1998: Scholarship from the Hellenic State Scholarships Foundation for a postgraduate course in Byzantine Philology.
• 2002-: Teaching Greek Palaeography in courses held by the IBR / NHRF.
