• 1992-2000: Associate Researcher at the Institute for Byzantine Research / NHRF.
• 2000-2007: Senior Researcher at the Institute for Byzantine Research / NHRF.
• 2007- : Research Director at the Institute for Historical Research, Department for Byzantine Research / NHRF.
