Eirini Kalogridou was born in Athens in 1968. She graduated from the Department of History, Ionian University in 1990.
In 1991 she has participated in an intensive seminar on Computers organised by EL.KE.PA.
In 1991-1992 she has also participated in two three-month seminars on "Archiving and Protection of Cultural Material" and "Conservation of Works of Popular Art" organised by Kairis Library of Andros.

WORK EXPERIENCE October 1998 to date: she is working as a Functional Technical Personnel at the Institute of Greek and Roman Antiquity, National Hellenic Research Foundation. Scientific and technical support, as well as collection, archiving and digitisation of primary sources remain her main tasks. Also at the "Aristeia" program she has worked in copy-editing, data processing and forming, as well as in cover-editing of many of the books of the "MELETHMATA" series of KERA. October 1992 - September 1998: she has worked as a Full-time Research Assistant in the Macedonian Program of the Centre for Greek and Roman Antiquity of the National Hellenic Research Foundation.
Main tasks: collection, archiving and digitisation of primary sources (epigraphic and photographic), assistant to the librarian. She has contributed to the following publications of the Centre:

June 1992 - September 1992: she has worked as a Cashier at the National Bank of Greece.
