Born in Athens, graduated from the Department of Archeology and from the Department of History of the University of Athens, with master in the Modern and Contemporary Geek History, preparing her PhD with title ''History and reality in the Venetian possessions in the Ionian coast of the West Greece: from Alexio Orlow to Ali Pasha of Gianina'' in the University of Athens. From 2000 to 2003 was scholar-researcher of the Hellenic Institute of Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Studies of Venice and on May of 2003 has won a fellowship from the Istituto Nazionale di Storia economica E. Datini to participate in the International Congress with the theme ''Il mercato della terra, secc.XIII-XVIII'' (Prato, 5-9 May 2003). She had participated in nineteen International Congresses and Seminars and she has published 24 essays in Greek and International bulletins of History. Her research focalized on issues that have to do with the economic, social and political history of the west coast of the Greece (from the Gulf of Arta up to the harbor of Sagiada) during the seventeenth-eighteenth century (history, society and social organization of the cities Parga, Prevesa, and Vonizza? the Russian admiral Lambros Katsonis and his adventures in the north of the Ionian Sea, Ali Pasha of Giannina and his rapports with the Venetians during the last years of the eighteenth century, commerce and navigation of the Greeks - the example of the Messolongi, consuls of the merchants and their archives). She had participated in a number of scientific programs among them three European research programs (1. Greek maritime history, 18th century, 2. Greek communities and the European World, 13th - 19th century. Forms of self-administration, social structure, composition of identity, 3. Women and marriage in the island of Corfu. Financial activity and social reproduction, 17th - 19th century). From 2004 to 2008 had collaborated with the Hellenic Institute of Venice in the program for the classification of the Historical Archive of the Greek Community of Venice. The last two years had worked in the Benakeios Library of the Greek Parliament in the classification of the personal archive of Jean Psichari and his wife Irene Baume-Psichari. From March 2010, as a collaborator of the National Research Foundation, participate in the classification of the archival material of the period 1684-1864 in the General State Archives - Archive of Lefkada.
