E. Sifneos

E. Sifneos is a Historian , Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Neohellenic Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation, in the programme of History of Enterprises and Industrial Archaeology. She is a doctorate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales, in Paris. Her interests are focusing on the Economic and Social History of the Aegean region, the history of the olive-oil economy and the history of the Greek Diaspora in New Russia. Special care and experience is been accumulated in the management of Business and Industrial records as well as in Industrial Archaeology. She directs the projects ''Greek entrepreneurs in the Black Sea and the Azov (19th-20th c.)'' and ''The olive-oil and soap-making industry (19th-20th c. )''. She manages a data base on ''The Greeks in Odessa, according to the 1897 All-Russian Census''. She talks fluently english, french, spanish and italian.
