EDUCATION

2008 - 2010:

MSc fellow at the Institute of Organic and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, National Hellenic Research Foundation in collaboration with the Pharmacy Department.of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens,
''Design and synthesis of benzopyran analogues bearing heterocyclic five-membered rings, such as 1,2,3-triazole and isoxazole synthesized using ''click'' reactions and evaluation of their activity against glutamate neurotoxicity. Research also involves solid phase synthesis of 2-substituted chromans.''

2003 - 2007:
• Bachelor degree in Chemistry with grade 8.04
University of Patras, Faculty of Sciences, Chemistry Department.
Undergraduate thesis: ''Synthesis of butyl imidazole and histamine analogues with potential antihypertensive activity''. Laboratory of Organic Chemistry, University of Patras. (October 2006 - May 2007)
