- Vibrational Spectroscopy (Raman and Infra-Red) in Materials Physical Chemistry and Condensed Matter Physics: (a) Ionic Glasses, (b) Transition Metal Oxides (High Temperature Cuprate Superconductors, Manganites, Vanadates), (c) Fullerenes and derivative systems, (d) Other materials for applications (e.g. Hybrid Organic/Inorganic Solid State Photovoltaic Cells, semiconductors, etc.)
- Second Harmonic Generation characterization of materials (glasses etc.) with non-linear optical properties.
