CLOSETraining seminars for teachers of primary and secondary education
Since 2015, the Institute of Historical Research has been co-organizing training seminars for teachers of primary and secondary education under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. The training is offered by researchers from the IHR and other university and research institutions of the country. In 2024 the seminar was on the teaching of history through the critical study of sources and in 2025 on the teaching of Modern Greek language and literature, while in October 2025 it will be co-organised in Nafplio, in cooperation with Harvard’s Center for Hellenic Studies, the Secondary Education Directorate of Argolida and the Municipality of Nafplion, a teacher training seminar on the teaching of History based on the new teaching manuals of the Ministry of Education.
