Studies on the coinage production of the Macedonian Kingdom through the publication of collections, excavation finds, and numismatic corpora. Within the framework of the long-term study of the Macedonian kingdom’s coinage, also supported by the funded program InCoMac (2012–2015), special emphasis was placed on the systematic study of the so-called “autonomous,” non-royal issues produced within the kingdom during the Hellenistic period, a phenomenon that represents a distinctive feature of the Antigonid kingdom, and on the circulation and use of bronze coinage.
