Other Scholarly Events

In addition to its regular annual series of academic events, SGRA also organizes a wide range of additional conferences, symposia, and lectures as part of funded research projects, institutional collaborations with other organizations, and the hosting of visiting scholars.

Over the past two years, the following ad hoc scholarly events have been organized:

• May 30–31, 2024: International Conference “GIS in Crete: Archaeological Questions and Computational Answers” (organized by V. Antoniadis), “Leonidas Zervas” Auditorium.
• November 29, 2024: Seminar by Cecilia D’Ercole, Visiting Professor (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales, Paris), titled “Circulation of Knowledge, Skills and People across the Mediterranean during the Archaic and Classical Periods”, Seminar Room, NHRF.
