EATRIS-GR

The NHRF organized the central hub of the National Infrastructure for in vitro and in vivo preclinical evaluation of anticancer drugs. Specifically, in collaboration with the coordinator, it contributed to:

1. the creation of an online access portal for external users of the infrastructure to facilitate the preclinical testing of anticancer drugs,
2. the drafting of operational regulations and access terms for the animal facility where xenograft experiments in athymic mice were conducted,
3. the dissemination of the goals and activities of the animal facility,
4. the certification of the laboratory/animal facility where xenograft and in vitro experiments in standard cancer systems were carried out, and
5. the selection of a pilot program investigating the effects of an anticancer compound both individually and in combination with other anticancer agents. This study was supported by resources from the program.
