Cypriot Secretariat

This is a research and publishing project aiming to highlight the intellectual history of Cyprus during the period 1571–1878. It publishes previously unpublished or rare texts, in Greek as well as in other European languages, which document the preservation of the island’s European identity—not only in intellectual life, but also in society and politics. The texts are published as part of the Neohellenic Studies series of the Institute of Historical Research – National Hellenic Research Foundation (IHR-NHRF).
