UPCAST will advance the European exploitation of the Data Economy by providing universal plugins for Data Service and Monetisation platforms to enable automated dynamic FAIR pricing, automate and improve Contract Negotiation and provide energy-efficient and end-to-end Secure Data Exchange and Trading. The specific objectives of the project are: 1: Apply models and standards to easily specify data processing requirements in the context of the common European data spaces. 2: Automate secure, transparent and fairly-priced negotiation and development of data-sharing and processing contracts. 3: Provide a legal and ethical framework for automated contracts. 4: Provide plugins for data sharing and monetisation platforms. 5: Improve environmental sustainability of data processing workflows. 6: Create conditions for trustable, fair and sustainable data exploitation. 7: Pilot and evaluate the platform in Real Market Dataspaces. 8: Promote standardisation of data processing description, pricing, and negotiation practices. 9: Share experiences, best practices and pitfalls with the research community, industry and the public. NHRF is responsible for one pilot action of the project regarding analysis and sharing of genomic data.
