Digital Collection of Rare Pamphlets from the “D. A. Zakythinos” Library
The Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation brings to the digital realm part of the rare pamphlets collection of the “D. A. Zakythonos” Library. The collection, initiated by K. Th. Dimaras, constitutes a unique assemblage of printed materials, many of which are not found elsewhere. It mainly consists of 19th-century publications that include speeches, commentaries, and analyses on contemporary issues of the time, as well as texts on legal, theological, and various social matters. Beyond their scholarly value, these prints also make for engaging reading, offering readers a window into the language and thought of another era.
