Dissemination of scientific knowledge

Seminars and lectures are organised on a weekly basis, with the participation of distinguished foreign and Greek scientists.
ICB researchers have co‐οrganised for more than 50 years the universally acclaimed summer schools on Molecular Biology in Spetses where more than 15 Nobel laureates have lectured.
ICB participates in and organizes workshops/schools/symposia on Drug Discovery and Chemical Biology expanding the communication channels informing scientists, citizens, students, potential users-sponsors and stakeholders of the Institute’s research activitie
Organisation of events aiming to the development of complementary skills of the PhD and Post-doctoral fellows, such as technical skills, presentation skills, proposal writing, project management, enterprise start-up etc.
Organisation of a yearly school outreach program.
ICB participates, yearly, in the European Researchers’ Night (pre-event and main event) and in the Athens Science Festival (since its inauguration in 2014).
ICB researchers are involved in organizing the annual cycle of NHRF educational events “Science and Society”, aiming at communicating front line scientific issues to the general public.
ICB activities are presented yearly in “Thessaloniki International Fair” as well as in other fares and brokerage events.
