Postgraduate Seminar in Ancient History co-organised by the Department of History and Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and the Institute of Historical Research (IHR)

The seminar has been held since the academic year 2019-2020 and forms an integral part of the postgraduate curriculum offered by the School of Philosophy of the University of Athens. It takes place during the winter semester, and is taught by faculty members of NKUA and researchers from the IHR.

“Nikos Oikonomides” Seminar

The Section of Byzantine Research at the Institute collaborates with the Department of History and Archaeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens within the framework of the postgraduate program “Byzantine World: History and Archaeology”. As part of this collaboration, the interdisciplinary seminar “Nikos Oikonomides” is organised annually during the spring semester.
