Sources for the Economic History and Material Culture of Venetian-Ruled Greece

The project aims to establish a thematic series of sources concerning the economic history and material culture of the Greek territories under Venetian rule. Within this framework, the following publications are planned:

1. An edition of documents relating to the administration of the dependencies of the Venetian monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore in Crete and Euboea during the 15th century, provisionally titled: Prices and Wages in 15th-Century Crete and Euboea from the Archive of the Monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice.
2. An edition of the post-mortem inventory of the movable property of Bernardo Giustinian, viceduca and capitano of Crete, provisionally titled: The Material World of a Venetian Official in Late 15th-Century Crete.
3. An edition of a collection of 15th-century inventories of objects from the Archive of the Duke of Crete.
