The incorporation of Tinos and Mykonos into the Venetian state was a collateral consequence of the annexation of Euboea (Negroponte) following the death of Giorgio III Ghisi. This study investigates the administrative schemes proposed for managing the two islands and the difficulties encountered in their implementation.
