Circulation and use of Rhodian coinage under Rhodian hegemony

A study of the circulation of Rhodian coinage during the period of Rhodian hegemony, and an investigation into the phenomenon of its imitations by other issuing authorities, based on an important find uncovered during excavations at Pella. A publication is in preparation, titled: The Pella / 1976 hoard: Evidence for the dating of the pseudo-Rhodian coinage, in collaboration with colleague Nikos Akamatis from the Academy of Athens.
