Digital Historical Cartography Laboratory

The Laboratory of Digital Historical Cartography aims to produce original thematic maps—initially in digital form—on which historical information from diverse sources is rendered in a documented, comprehensible, and aesthetically engaging manner. The maps cover the entire chronological spectrum of Greek history. Drawing on expertise developed through various research projects concerned with the representation of historical and archaeological data in digital cartographic environments, the Laboratory offers a suite of services including research, documentation, and the design of original cartographic material.
