“Helios” Institutional Repository

Helios is the digital repository of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF), which collects, preserves, and disseminates the interdisciplinary research output of the foundation. It has been developed according to the principles of open access to knowledge and is constantly enriched with new content.

In Helios, you will find scientific publications, such as articles in international journals, scientific editions and books, monographs, patents, conference announcements and proceedings, lectures, multimedia and educational material. The content is organized into collections that reflect the structure of the NHRF’s research institutes, as well as other actions and initiatives of the foundation.

The repository supports the open access policy, allowing free browsing and use of the content, in accordance with the licenses and terms of use of the documents. It is fully interoperable and compatible with the specifications of OpenAIRE, the European initiative for the promotion of Open Science, and its resources are indexed in the OpenAIRE Explore portal. Furthermore, Helios is included in the international directory of open access repositories OpenDOAR and the Greek open portal OpenArchives.gr.

Finally, registration is possible, through which any interested party can benefit from additional services of the repository.
