CLOSEFunding approval for a French-Greek collaborative research project through the competitive call HUBERT CURIEN 2025 – “Aristotelis” of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY)
The project entitled “Optimized, large-scale, synthesis of ternary chalcogenide nanocrystals for optoelectronics and photocatalytic applications”, with Dr. Panagiotis Dallas of the TCPI/NHRF as the Principal Investigator has received funding of €10.000 for 24 months, within the framework of the Partenariat Hubert Curien France – Grèce 2025 call of the State Scholarships Foundation. The French partner is CEA Grenoble, while the Greek research team also includes researchers from NCSR “Demokritos”.
This project establishes close collaboration with the research group of Dr. Peter Reiss, a leading expert in the synthesis of inorganic nanocrystals.
The research efforts are targeting the large-scale synthesis of chalcogenide nanoparticles colloidal I-III-VI2, mainly with a core-shell structure, for photocatalytic, optoelectronic and biomedical applications.
