About ACHILLES

ACHILLES (Advancing in the CHallenge of Improving Lymphoma and LEukemia Survival) is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network funded by the European Commission under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-MSCA-2024-DN-01). The project trains 16 Doctoral Candidates across 15 laboratories in 12 European countries, a new generation of scientists to develop innovative strategies for the treatment of haematological malignancies.

The Opportunity

16 three-year fellowships for Doctoral Candidates are starting in the 2026–2027 academic year and are distributed across 12 European countries, providing a unique opportunity for international and intersectoral experience.

DC10: AI-Driven Proteoform-Based Drug Repurposing for Targeted Cancer Therapies

The National Hellenic Research Foundation (NHRF) in Athens, Greece, invites applications for a fully funded 3-year doctoral position within the ACHILLES network. The DC10 project focuses on:

• Predicting drug repurposing outcomes through proteoform analysis and mechanistic insights
• Applying network-based approaches to map drug-target interactions and identify key molecular pathways
• Exploring molecular signatures to uncover mechanisms of treatment response and resistance, facilitating drug repurposing and identification of translational biomarkers
