All experimental data will be treated as confidential as a matter of course. However it is also possible to arrange for a signed contract for the maintenance of confidentiality.
The NMR facility houses three spectrometers operating at 700, 600 and 300 MHz aimed at solution studies of a wide range of samples including small organic molecules, complex metabolite mixtures, peptides, proteins, polymers, and complex hydrocarbons. Both high field instruments are equipped with triple resonance cryoprobes for high sensitivity and versatility.
The facility also hosts HPC workstations, for demanding calculations, and staff with expertise in chemical, metabolomic and biological applications of NMR spectroscopy.
We provide a wide range of services in various steps of Drug discovery pipeline such as:
- small molecule structure determination
- libraries screening against pharmaceutical relevant protein targets
- hit discovery and optimization combining NMR screening with molecular modeling approaches
- protein structure, dynamics and interaction studies
Moreover, we have established mature protocols and pipelines for NMR-based metabolomics analyzing biofluids, tissue, complex mixtures of natural products with applications in
- Disease Biomarkers
- Domestic animals health promotion
- Food safety/Nutraceuticals

Spectrometer details for publication requirements
NMR spectra were recorded on a VARIAN VnmrS 600 MHz NMR spectrometer, equipped with a 5 mm 1H{13C,15N} cryoprobe using the software OpenVNMRJ v1.1.

NMR spectra were recorded on a VARIAN VnmrS 300 MHz NMR spectrometer, equipped with a 5 mm H/F/C/P Auto switchable probe using the software OpenVNMRJ 1.1.
NMR facility is upgraded within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “Greece 2.0” with a new Bruker AVANCE NEO 700 MHz spectrometer (operation in 2026).
