CLOSESNR
The Section of Neohellenic Research (SNR) of the unified Institute of Historical Research (IHR) was founded by C. Th. Dimaras in 1960 as the Center of Neohellenic Research. Today, the research directions of the current SNR focus on the political, social, economic, and cultural history of Modern Hellenism (15th-21st centuries) and have been significantly enriched with new fields of knowledge, innovative approaches, and new methodologies. The SNR now works in close collaboration with the other two Sections of the IHR, and all focus on Greek history through time, following related research methodologies and approaches.
