“Byzantina Symmeikta” is the annual, open access, peer review periodical edition of the Section of Byzantine Research. It has been published since 1966 (until 1905 under the name “Symmeikta”). It is open to research in the fields of Byzantine history, archaeology, philology and history of art. “Byzantina Symmeikta” publish studies by members of the Greek and international byzantinist community.
