CLOSEThe SNR’s goal has always been the documentation of the history of Modern Hellenism from the 15th to the 19th century. The utilization of all kinds of documents on Modern Hellenism has always been considered a top priority research task, so that the SNR could provide the research community with research tools and information that would be difficult for individual researchers to locate and compile without the corresponding long-term research activity and infrastructure. Today, the primary basic research conducted by the SNR extends into the 21st century and also includes the Ottoman world.
